The GFSN- The worlds only LGBTQ+ National League
Who We Are
The GFSN is the world’s only national LGBTQ+ football league, offering a safe, inclusive space for players of all sexualities, gender identities, and allies to compete and connect through football. With over 25 clubs across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland, we’re proud to show that football truly is for everyone.
Background
Founded in 1989 as a social space for LGBTQ+ football fans, the GFSN began as a network for watching matches and building community. What started in pubs and informal meetups evolved into organised five-a-side games, eventually leading to the launch of the GFSN National League in 2002. Today, we continue to grow as a vibrant, welcoming football community.
What We Do
We offer a range of football opportunities and events designed to suit all abilities and levels of experience:

-
